Tuna Adobo


  • Tuna steaks
  • Soy sauce
  • Vinegar
  • Garlic, minced
  • Onion, sliced
  • Peppercorns
  • Bay leaves
  • Cooking oil

Preparation Steps

  1. In a pan, heat cooking oil and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  2. Add tuna steaks and sear on both sides until lightly browned.
  3. Pour in soy sauce and vinegar. Add peppercorns and bay leaves.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes or until the tuna is cooked through.
  5. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper according to taste.
  6. Serve the Tuna Adobo hot with steamed rice.
