  • Bay leaves

Preparation Steps

  1. In a pan, heat cooking oil and sear the pork chops until browned on both sides.
  2. Remove the pork chops from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  4. Add soy sauce, vinegar, peppercorns, and bay leaves to the pan.
  5. Return the pork chops to the pan and add water.
  6. Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes or until the pork is tender.
  7. Season with salt to taste.
  8. Serve hot with steamed rice.
