  • If desired, add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor of the porridge. Stir well to incorporate.Continue cooking until the maize meal porridge reaches your desired consistency. If you prefer a thinner porridge, add a little more water and adjust the cooking time accordingly. For a thicker porridge, reduce the amount of water and cook for a longer time.
