Oven-Baked Frozen Hash Browns


  • 1 bag of frozen hash browns (about 16 oz)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Spread the frozen hash browns in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle the vegetable oil over the hash browns and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
  4. Use a spatula to gently toss and evenly coat the hash browns with the oil and seasonings.
  5. Spread the hash browns out again in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven.
  7. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the hash browns are crispy and golden brown, stirring halfway through the cooking time.
  8. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
