  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a baking dish and set it aside.
  • Place the broccoli florets in a microwave-safe bowl with a splash of water. Cover the bowl with a microwave-safe lid or microwave-safe wrap. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, or until the broccoli is slightly tender. Drain any excess water.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, all-purpose flour, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Spread half of the sauce mixture in the greased baking dish. Layer the cooked chicken cubes over the sauce. Next, add the steamed broccoli evenly over the chicken. Pour the remaining sauce over the broccoli, making sure it covers the entire dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bake is heated through.
  • Remove the chicken broccoli bake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve it warm and enjoy the delicious combination of tender chicken, flavorful broccoli, and creamy sauce.



You can use fresh or frozen broccoli for this recipe. If using frozen broccoli, make sure to thaw and drain it before adding it to the bake.
Feel free to add other vegetables to the bake, such as carrots, bell peppers, or cauliflower, to customize the dish to your liking.
For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free all-purpose flour or cornstarch to thicken the sauce.
