Versatile vegetable options: You can choose any combination of frozen stir-fry vegetables you prefer or have on hand. Popular choices include a mix of broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, snap peas, and water chestnuts. Feel free to customize the vegetable selection to your liking.
Personalize the flavors: While the recipe includes soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil, you can adjust the amounts or swap them out with other sauces and seasonings according to your taste preferences. Experiment with different flavors like teriyaki sauce, hoisin sauce, or chili sauce for a unique twist.
Texture preference: The cooking time mentioned in the recipe results in crisp-tender vegetables. If you prefer them softer, increase the cooking time by a few minutes. Conversely, if you like them to retain more crunch, reduce the cooking time slightly.
Protein additions: You can easily add protein to this dish by including cooked chicken, beef, shrimp, tofu, or tempeh. Simply cook the protein separately and add it to the stir-fried vegetables towards the end of the cooking process.
Serve it creatively: This stir-fried vegetable dish can be enjoyed on its own as a side or as a base for other dishes. Pair it with steamed rice, quinoa, or noodles for a complete meal. You can also use it as a filling for wraps, tacos, or lettuce wraps.
Leftovers: If you have any leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
