  • Preheat the grill with the lid closed for about 5 minutes. This ensures that the grill plates are hot and ready for cooking.
  • Divide the ground beef into equal portions, typically about 1/4 to 1/3 pound per patty. Shape each portion into a round patty, ensuring that they are evenly sized and about 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent it from puffing up during cooking.
  • Generously season both sides of each patty with salt and pepper. You can also add additional seasonings or spices according to your preference.
  • Open the grill and place the burger patties onto the hot grill plates, ensuring they are evenly spaced. Close the lid of the grill.
  • Cook the burgers for approximately 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, 5-6 minutes for medium, or 6-7 minutes for well-done. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the patties and your desired level of doneness. Avoid pressing down on the burgers with the spatula during cooking to retain their juices.
