Lettuce is a leafy vegetable usually used in making salads, sandwiches and so on. It can be grouped into four categories known as crisphead, butterhead, loose-leaf and romaine. Lettuce helps in the prevention of cancer and eases anxiety and stress. It also contains antioxidants which help to bring down inflammation.

1 large tomato (chopped)
1 small cucumber (chopped)
¼ of a small onion (thinly sliced)
1 small carrot (grated)
A pinch of salt
Salad cream (optional)
What Lettuce Salad Can Be Served With
Lettuce salad can be served with fried or grilled chicken, fried or grilled fish, steak, fried rice, jollof rice, potato chips or bread.
1.Rinse and chop some lettuce into a bowl.
2.Add the chopped cucumber, onion and grated carrot and mix together.
3.Add a pinch of salt and mix well. You can use a fork or spoon to mix it.
4.Now add the salad cream and mix one more time. Keep it in the fridge for a little while and serve.
