Ingredients FOR CRISPY CHICKEN

  • 5 chicken thighs (cut into desired sizes)
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
  • Vegetable oil

 

What Crispy Chicken Can Be Served With

Crispy chicken can be served with potato chips and ketchup, yam chips and pepper sauce or ketchup, jollof rice, fried rice, stir fried spaghetti and vegetables and so on.

 

Steps FOR CRISPY CHICKEN

  1.  Combine flour, baking powder, salt, powdered pepper and garlic powder in a bowl.
  2.  Add milk and a little water and beat or stir vigorously until it is smooth. Set aside.
  3.  Wash the cut chicken with squeezed lemon and water and drain the water from the chicken.
  4.  Drench the chicken into the mixture and shake the excess off.
  5.  Deep fry in heated oil.
  6.  When ready, remove from oil and blot excess oil with a kitchen tissue.
