  • 2 cups of long grain rice
  • Carrot (1)
  • Spring onions (2)
  • Eggs (3)
  • Green bell pepper (1)
  • Green peas
  • Cucumber
  • Sausage (3)
  • Chicken breast
  • Vegetable oil
  • Soy sauce

 

 

What Assorted Fried Rice Can Be Served With

Assorted fried rice can be served with fried or grilled chicken, fish, pepper sauce or ketchup.

 

Steps to prepare assorted fried rice

  1.  Wash rice an cook rice on fire for about an hour.
  2.  Chop carrots, spring onions, green bell pepper, cucumber and sausage onto a plate.
  3.  Slice chicken breast into thin strips and wash with lemon and water and set aside.
  4.  Spice the chicken with salt, pepper and a little curry powder.
  5.  Break eggs into a small bowl and stir.
  6.  When rice is ready remove from fire.
  7.  Put frying pan on fire and pour a little oil into it.
  8.  Put the spiced sliced chicken into the oil and fry till it browns or becomes soft and cooked.
  9.  Add beaten eggs, the vegetables and sausage and fry for a while.
  10.  Add some of the cooked rice and stir with the vegetables together.
  11.  Add some soy sauce and stir till it mixes well.
  12.  Let it fry for a while as you keep stirring and remove from fire.
  13.  Serve onto a plate.
