Preparation Steps

  1. In a pan, heat cooking oil and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  2. Add chicken and cook until browned.
  3. Pour in soy sauce, vinegar, peppercorns, and bay leaves.
  4. Add sugar and water. Cover and simmer for about 30-40 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
  5. Add the boiled eggs and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with steamed rice.
