- 500 grams boneless chicken
- butter
- onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic
- ginger, grated
- Cape Malay curry powder
- green chili peppers
- ground cumin
- ground coriander
- turmeric powder
- paprika
- tomato puree
- coconut milk
- fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Cooking oil, for frying
Instructions
- Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chili peppers. Sauté until the onions are soft and translucent.
