Ingredients
- 2 cups of curd (cold)
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- ¾ teaspoon of cardamom powder
- 1 cup of cold water or yoghurt whey
- A pinch of saffron / teaspoon of rosewater
What Lassi Can Be Served With
Lassi can be eaten with almonds, cashew ,pistachios, white butter or cream.

Steps
- Put two cups of cold curd into a deep bowl. If your curd is sour, you would have to add more milk and sugar.
- Beat it with a whisk or mixing rod till it becomes smooth.
- Add four tablespoons of sugar, a pinch of saffron or a teaspoon of rosewater.
- Add ¾ of a teaspoon of cardamom powder.
- Whisk all the ingredients together till the sugar dissolves.
- Add one cup of cold water or yoghurt whey to the mixture.
- Add more water depending on the consistency you prefer.
Use one cup of water if you are using Greek yoghurt for the lassi. Whisk the drink well till it becomes foamy and serve in a glass. You can add more sugar or cardamom powder as you want.
