Homemade Lemon Brownies Recipe

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- Lemon Glaze
- 1 cup powered sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 tbsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
- Whisk flour, granulated sugar, butter, and salt together in a large bowl using an electric mixer or hand whisker until uniformly mixed.
- Whisk eggs, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon lemon zest together in a separate bowl
- Pour liquid mixture into flour mixture and beat on medium speed until smooth, about 4 minutes.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. When a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean it done baking.
- Allow it to cool until bottom of dish is warm to the touch.
- Whisk powered sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and lemon zest together in a bowl until smooth to make lemon glaze.
- Spread over brownies.
- Cut and serve warm or chilled .
