Ingredients
  

  • frozen blueberries
  • dates, pitted and chopped
  • ripe banana
  • unsweetened almond milk
  • almond butter
  • chia seeds
  • Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Place the blueberries, chopped dates, ripe banana, almond milk, almond butter (if using), and chia seeds (if using) in a blender.
  • If using fresh blueberries, add a handful of ice cubes for a chilled smoothie.Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If needed, stop and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness by adding more dates if desired. You can also adjust the thickness by adding more almond milk or ice cubes.
  • Once the desired consistency is achieved, pour the smoothie into a glass.Garnish with a few extra blueberries and a sprinkle of chia seeds, if desired

Notes
