Grilling fish in a foil pack makes for an easy cleanup also. When we are preparing meals in foil, I also like to make my side dishes on the grill in foil packs.

How Long To Cook Tilapia On The Grill In Foil Recipe

Fish is one of the healthiest sources of protein, and tilapia is no exception. Tilapia is packed with vitamins and minerals like choline, niacin, vitamin B12, vitamin D, selenium, and phosphorus. It is also a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are healthy fats that your body needs to function.
In English, it is sometimes known by the name "St. Peter's fish", which comes from the narrative in the Gospel of Matthew about the apostle Peter catching a fish that carried a coin in its mouth.

  • Gas Grill or any preferred grill

  • Tilapia filets or fresh tilapia
  • Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • Olive Oil

  • Grab a number of foils that will be enough for your tilapia.
  • Place a tilapia filet on each piece of foil.
If you are using fresh tilapia, neatly wash it and make some cuts on it at an interval and place it in the foil
  • Drizzle some olive oil on each fillet of tilapia and add some lemon pepper seasoning to each fillet.
  • Preheat the grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
Don't forget to oil your grill before adding the tilapia in foil.
  • Place tilapia in foil, directly on the grill for 10 minutes until the tilapia reaches an internal temperature for 145 degrees F.
Make sure to flip Tilapia and cook about 8 minutes per side to ensure it's well cooked.
  • Be careful when unwrapping the foil packets.
The tilapia is ready to enjoy.

Eating Tilapia on a regular basis can help. It is notably lower in saturated fats, and the omega-3 fatty acids it contains can help lower triglycerides, which can cause fatty liver disease and pancreatitis when found in highly concentrated amounts.
Whenever I make Tilapia in foil, it prevents it from overcooking and keeps it from drying out and so I love my tilapia this way.
