Truffle Pasta

Ingredients
- pasta (linguine, fettuccine, or your preferred type)
- unsalted butter
- olive oil
- garlic
- truffle oil
- black truffle paste
- salt and black pepper
- grated parmesan cheese
- fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining. Drain the pasta and set aside.
- In a large skillet or saucepan, heat the unsalted butter and extra-virgin olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant but not browned.
- Lower the heat and add the truffle oil and black truffle paste or minced black truffle to the skillet. Stir to combine the flavors.Season the sauce with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the truffle sauce.
- Toss the pasta gently in the skillet, ensuring it's evenly coated with the truffle sauce. If the pasta seems dry, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to loosen it up.
- Once the pasta is heated through and well coated with the truffle sauce, remove the skillet from heat.
- Optionally, garnish the truffle pasta with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley for added flavor and presentation.
