Ingredients
  

  • medium sized apple
  • spinach
  • banana
  • almond milk
  • fresh ginger

Instructions
 

  • Place the spinach, apple, banana, chia seeds, and almond milk in a blender.
  • Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.
  • Taste the smoothie and add honey or a natural sweetener if desired.
  • . Note that the sweetness of the apple and banana may be sufficient for your taste.
  • If desired, add a few ice cubes to make the smoothie chilled. Blend again for a few seconds to incorporate the sweetener and ice cubes.
  • Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
