Pan fried chicken thighs recipe
Ingredients
- Chicken thighs
- Pepper powder
- Garlic powder as well as any seasoning of your choice
- Onion
- Salt
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients Soak chicken thighs in salted water for about 2 hours before starting to cook.
- When done soaking, remove from the salted water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Now preheat your oven and start seasoning your chicken with the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, hot pepper powder and any seasoning of your choice.
- Allow to marinate for some minutes and then pour some olive oil in a large frying pan and allow to heat over medium flame.
- After heating, slowly add in the marinated chicken and then marinate the other side and fry for some minutes. The chicken becomes easy to turn when it's ready.
- Equally fry the other side for the same minutes and then place it in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes.
- Insert a meat thermometer to check for doneness after the 20 minutes. As soon as it reaches 165 degrees, then you can be sure it's well cooked.
- Remove from the oven and then place it on paper towels to drain some oil, afterwards, place them back on a plate and serve.
- Serve your chicken thighs with your favorite sauce. Enjoy !
