Instructions
- Make ready all your ingredients and preheat your oven, when done grease a baking dish and cook the egg noodles, drain and set aside.
- In a large oven safe pan, melt the butter and add in your all purpose flour, pour in the milk, and stir continuously to avoid lumps and get the mixture thickened.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Now, add the cooked noodles and flaked salmon, to the cheese sauce. Now add the chopped celery and add some lemon zest.Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish or use the oven safe skillet and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for a crunchy texture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately about until the casserole is heated through and the top is golden brown. You then remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
