Egg fried cabbage recipe
Egg fried cabbage is a simple and delicious dish made by stir-frying chopped cabbage with scrambled eggs and various seasonings. It's a popular Asian recipe that combines scrambled eggs with the crispiness of cabbage, bringing out a flavorful and nutritious dish. The cabbage remains slightly crunchy, providing a nice texture to support the eggs. It can be served as a side dish or a main course, often paired with rice or noodles.
Ingredients
- Cabbage finely chopped
- Eggs
- Oil
- Garlic minced
- Grated ginger optional
- Soy sauce or your preferred seasonings
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients and heat the oil in a frying pan and add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the hot oil and sauté for about few seconds until fragrant.
- Now add the shredded cabbage to the frying and stir-fry for some minutes until the cabbage is slightly wilted but still crunchy.
- You can used another frying pan, oil and break the eggs and scramble it and then you add the sauteed cabbage to it or push the cabbage to one side of the frying and crack the eggs into the empty side. Scramble the eggs until they are cooked through.
- You then mix the cooked eggs with the cabbage in the frying pan and add soy sauce, salt, and pepper and any other seasonings of your choice to the cabbage and egg mixture. Stir well to combine and cook for a bit
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
- Enjoy your egg fried cabbage!
