  • 2 duck legs

Instructions
 

  • Make ready all your ingredients and preheat your oven. Dry the duck legs with paper towel. Prick the skin in a crisscross pattern to enable the oil come out during cooking.
  • Season your duck legs with salt, pepper, and any other spices. Rub the seasoning all over the legs, making sure they are well coated. Heat a casserole or oven-safe pan having some duck fat over medium-high heat and place the duck legs in the skillet, skin side down. Cook both sides for 2 minutes each.
  • Transfer the duck legs to a roasting dish if you used a non-oven-safe skillet into the preheated oven and roast the duck legs in the oven until the meat is tender for about 1 hour.
  • Upon finishing, remove the duck legs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
