Ingredients
  

  • boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • chicken broth
  • barbecue sauce
  • brown sugar
  • smoked paprika
  • garlic powder
  • onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs in the slow cooker.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken broth or water, barbecue sauce, brown sugar (if using), smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker, ensuring it's evenly coated
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and easily shreds with a fork
  • Once the chicken is cooked, use two forks to shred it directly in the slow cooker, mixing it with the sauce.
  • Use the pulled chicken in sandwiches, tacos, salads, or any other preferred dish. It's ready to be enjoyed!
