Cheesy Baked Pasta Casserole

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an oven-safe baking dish with cooking spray or butter.Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet or saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.If using ground meat, add it to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, marinara sauce, cooked meat mixture (if using), shredded mozzarella cheese, half of the cheddar cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
- Transfer the pasta mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the pasta.Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
- After 20-25 minutes, remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are golden brown.
- Once done, remove the Pasta Casserole from the oven. Allow it to cool slightly before serving.Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
