Ingredients
  

  • broccoli
  • boneless chicken
  • cooking oil
  • herbs and spices
  • salt and pepper
  • onion
  • chicken broth
  • garlic

Instructions
 

  • Slice the chicken into thin strips. Cut broccoli into florets, ensuring they are bite-sized.
  • In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar (or honey), and red pepper flakes if using. Set the sauce aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced chicken to the pan. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
  • In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed, then add the broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and slightly tender.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the pan with the broccoli.Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  • Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and broccoli.
  • Garnish the Broccoli Chicken Stir-Fry with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired.Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles, if using.
