  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat the cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they become translucent.
  • Add the beef cubes to the pot and cook until they brown on all sides.
  • Pour in the beef or vegetable broth, ensuring it covers the meat. Add the bay leaves and minced garlic.
  • Bring the broth to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 1.5 to 2 hours until the meat is tender.
