Instructions
- Place the sorghum grains in a fine-mesh sieve or colander.Rinse the sorghum grains under cold running water to remove any dirt or debris.
- In a large pot, combine the rinsed sorghum grains and 4 cups of water. If desired, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt for seasoning.Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.
- Once it comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot with a lid, and let it simmer for 30-40 minutes or until the sorghum grains are tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and add more water if necessary to reach your desired porridge consistency.
