Equipment

  • blender

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (or dairy-free yogurt for a vegan option)
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional, for added sweetness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a colder and thicker smoothie)

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Wash the mixed berries and remove any stems. Peel the banana and cut it into smaller chunks for easier blending.

Blend It: In a blender, combine the mixed berries, banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey (if using), and vanilla extract (if desired). If you prefer a colder and thicker smoothie, add some ice cubes

Blend Until Smooth: Start the blender on low speed and gradually increase to high. Blend until all the ingredients are completely smooth and well combined. If the mixture is too thick, add more almond milk to reach your desired consistency

Taste and Adjust: Give the smoothie a taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if needed. Blend for a few more seconds to incorporate any additional ingredients.

Serve: Pour the refreshing mixed berry smoothie into glasses. Consider garnishing with a few fresh berries for an extra burst of flavor and a touch of visual appeal.

For a creamier texture, use full-fat Greek yogurt.
