Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 medium apples, thinly sliced (such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to create a rectangular shape.
  • Place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  • In a bowl, toss the thinly sliced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • In another bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together.
  • Arrange the apple slices evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the apples, then drizzle melted butter on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  • Dust with powdered sugar for an extra touch of sweetness. Slice the tart tartine into individual servings and enjoy!
