Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., basil or parsley) optional
  • grated Parmesan cheese for garnish optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Zucchini: Wash the zucchinis thoroughly and trim off both ends. Slice the zucchinis into rounds, about 1/4-inch thick.

  • Sauté the Garlic: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds or until fragrant.
  • Be careful not to let it brown

Cook the Zucchini: Add the sliced zucchini rounds to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  • Cook the zucchini for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until it becomes tender and slightly caramelized. You want it to be cooked but still have a slight crunch

Garnish and Serve: If desired, garnish your sautéed zucchini with fresh herbs like basil or parsley, or sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
