Ingredients
  

  • boneless pork chops
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil
  • garlic
  • honey
  • soy sauce
  • chicken broth
  • corn starch
  • fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.
  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they develop a golden-brown crust.
  • Remove the pork chops from the pan and set them aside.
  • In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and chicken broth (or water). If you want a thicker sauce, dissolve 1 teaspoon of cornstarch in a tablespoon of cold water and whisk it into the mixture.
  • Return the seared pork chops to the pan. Pour the honey garlic sauce over them
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and let the pork chops simmer in the sauce for about 5-7 minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) and the sauce thickens slightly. Be sure to flip the chops occasionally and spoon the sauce over them.
  • Once the pork chops are cooked through and the sauce has thickened to your liking, remove them from the pan.
    Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or green onions if desired.
