The best choc chip cookies/biscuits

Chocolate chip biscuits, also known as chocolate chip cookies in some regions, are a beloved type of baked treat. They consist of a cookie dough that's studded with chocolate chips, which are small morsels of chocolate. The dough is typically made from a combination of ingredients like flour, butter, sugar, eggs, and leavening agents such as baking powder or baking soda. The chocolate chips add a delightful burst of chocolate flavor and a slightly melty texture to the finished cookie. These biscuits are often enjoyed as a snack, dessert, or accompaniment to a warm beverage. They come in various sizes and can be soft and chewy or crispy depending on the recipe and baking time.

Notes

One important thing to note when making chocolate chip biscuits is to not overmix the cookie dough once you've added the dry ingredients. Overmixing can lead to tough cookies, as gluten development in the flour can be excessive. Mix until the dry ingredients are just incorporated to ensure a softer and more tender texture in your finished biscuits.
