- In a separate bowl, make a cornstarch slurry by dissolving cornstarch in water. Set it aside.
- Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat until it starts to smoke.
- Add the marinated beef to the hot wok and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until it is browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Remove the beef from the wok and set it aside.
