Ingredients
  

  • beef sirloin or chicken breast
  • vegetable oil
  • onion
  • garlic
  • paprika
  • cayenne pepper
  • cumin
  • oregano
  • bay leaf
  • chicken broth
  • worcestershire sauce
  • heavy cream
  • salt and pepper
  • parsley
  • red wine vinegar

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the thinly sliced beef or chicken strips to the hot oil and sear them until they are browned on all sides. Remove them from the pan and set them aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the finely chopped onions and minced garlic. Saute until the onions become translucent and aromatic.
  • Stir in the ground paprika, ground cayenne pepper, ground cumin, dried oregano, and bay leaves. Allow the spices to toast and release their flavors
  • Pour in the beef or chicken broth, red wine vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir everything together, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  • Allow the sauce to simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly and the flavors meld together.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream to the sauce. Stir well to combine, creating a luscious and creamy texture.
  • Add the seared beef or chicken strips back into the skillet, making sure they are coated with the flavorful sauce.
  • Taste the Trinchado sauce and season with salt and pepper according to your preference.
  • Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley on top for a burst of color and an herbal note.
  • Dish up the Trinchado into individual serving bowls or onto a large platter.Accompany the spicy delight with freshly baked bread or steamed rice for a complete and satisfying meal.
