Savory Stir-Fried Yellow Noodles

Ingredients
  

  • yellow noodles
  • garlic

Instructions
 

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the dried yellow noodles and cook according to the package instructions until they are al dente.
  • Drain the noodles, rinse them under cold water, and set them aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and ground white pepper. Mix well and set the sauce aside.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.Add the minced garlic and sliced onions to the wok and sauté until they become fragrant and slightly softened.
  • Push the sautéed garlic and onions to one side of the wok. Add the protein of your choice (chicken, shrimp, tofu, or a combination) to the empty side of the wok.
  • Cook the protein until it is fully cooked and nicely browned, stirring occasionally.
  • Mix the cooked protein with the garlic and onions. Add the sliced bell peppers, julienned carrot, and sliced cabbage to the wok. Stir-fry the vegetables for a few minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  • Add the cooked yellow noodles to the wok, tossing them with the vegetables and protein.
  • Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and mix everything together until the noodles are evenly coated in the savory sauce.
  • Adjust seasoning if needed, adding more soy sauce or sugar to taste.Garnish with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, or cilantro leaves for an extra burst of flavor and visual appeal.
