Ingredients
  

  • mayonnaise
  • peri peri sauce
  • lemon juice
  • salt and pepper
  • wraps
  • cucumber
  • lettuce leaves
  • tomatoes

  • bell pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the peri-peri sauce, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them evenly with the marinade. Let the chicken marinate for about 10-15 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Nando's peri-peri sauce, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create the creamy dressing. Adjust the peri-peri sauce according to your desired spice level.
  • Preheat a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken breasts for about 5-6 minutes per side or until they are fully cooked and have grill marks. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface.
  • Spread a generous amount of the creamy dressing in the center of each tortilla
  • Place lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, bell peppers, and sliced avocado (if using) on top of the dressing.
  • Slice the grilled peri-peri chicken into thin strips and arrange them on top of the vegetables.
  • Optionally, sprinkle grated cheese over the chicken for an extra indulgent touch.
  • Fold the sides of each tortilla inward and then roll it tightly from the bottom to create a wrap.
  • Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately.
