  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) if baking the carapau fish. If frying, skip this step.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, ground cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir well to create a marinade.
  • Place the carapau fish fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
