White Cabbage with Minced Meat

Ingredients
- white cabbage, shredded or thinly sliced
- ground beef
- onion
- garlic
- olive oil
- paprika
- cumin
- salt and pepper
- fresh parsley
- vegetable broth
Instructions
- Shred or thinly slice the white cabbage. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the ground/minced meat to the skillet. Break it up with a spatula or spoon, and cook until the meat is browned and cooked through
- Stir in the paprika and ground cumin (if using) into the cooked meat mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the shredded white cabbage to the skillet, stirring to combine it with the meat mixture.
- Pour the beef or vegetable broth (or water) into the skillet, cover with a lid, and reduce the heat to medium-low.
- Let the cabbage and meat mixture simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until the cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally. If the pan becomes dry during cooking, add a little more broth or water
- Taste the dish and adjust seasoning if needed. Add more salt, pepper, or paprika according to your taste preference.
- Once the cabbage is tender and cooked to your liking, remove the skillet from the heat.
- Garnish the white cabbage and minced meat mixture with chopped fresh parsley or dill, if desired, before serving.
