Instructions
- Slice the chicken into thin strips. Cut broccoli into florets, ensuring they are bite-sized.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, brown sugar (or honey), and red pepper flakes if using. Set the sauce aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced chicken to the pan. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed, then add the broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and slightly tender.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan with the broccoli.Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and broccoli. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
- Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and broccoli.
