Ingredients
  

  • chicken breast
  • dijon mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • fresh cilantro
  • parsley
  • paprika
  • thyme
  • garlic
  • honey
  • soy sauce
  • ginger
  • olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and dried thyme. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and rub the seasonings to coat evenly.
  • Grill the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and grill marks appear. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the chicken breasts. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • While the chicken is grilling, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, grated ginger, and fresh lemon juice. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously, until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Once the chicken breasts are grilled, let them rest for a few minutes. Using a brush, coat one side of the chicken breasts with the prepared sauce. Turn the chicken breasts 90 degrees and brush the other side with the sauce, creating a checkered pattern.
  • Slice the checkered chicken breasts diagonally. Arrange on a serving plate and drizzle any remaining sauce over the top. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
  • Serve the checkered chicken breast hot, accompanied by your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
