Ingredients
  

  • olive oil
  • onion
  • garlic
  • ginger
  • sweet potato
  • bell pepper
  • zucchini
  • kale
  • tomatoes
  • vegetable broth
  • turmeric powder
  • cumin powder
  • cayenne pepper
  • salt and black pepper
  • lemonjuice
  • fresh parsley

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  • Add diced sweet potato, carrots, bell pepper, zucchini, and chopped kale to the pot. Stir well to combine with the aromatics.
  • Pour in the vegetable broth and add the diced tomatoes (with their juice). Bring the mixture to a gentle boil.
  • Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to distribute the spices evenly. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the soup simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  • Squeeze the juice of one lemon into the soup. Adjust the seasoning if necessary. Lemon juice not only adds flavor but also enhances the detoxifying properties of the soup.
  • Ladle the hot detox soup into bowls. Garnish each serving with freshly chopped parsley. Serve hot as a nourishing and cleansing meal.
