Ingredients
  

  • goat meat
  • yogurt
  • ginger
  • garlic
  • turmeric

  • chili powder

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, ground turmeric, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
  • Add the goat cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for the best flavor.
  • In a large, heavy-bottomed pot or skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onions and sauté until they become soft and translucent.
  • Stir in chopped tomatoes, ground turmeric, ground cumin, ground coriander, and chili powder. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil starts to separate from the mixture.
  • Add the marinated goat cubes to the pot. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the goat pieces are browned and seared on all sides.
  • Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let the goat cubes simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the meat is tender and cooked through. Stir occasionally and add water if needed to prevent sticking.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and additional spices if desired. Garnish with fresh chopped cilantro and julienned ginger.
  • Serve the tender goat cubes hot, accompanied by rice, naan, or your favorite flatbreads.
