Homemade Chicken Tenders

Ingredients
  

  • chicken breast tenders or boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • allpurpose flour
  • salt and blackpepper
  • paprika
  • garlic
  • eggs
  • bread crumbs
  • cooking oil

Instructions
 

  • In the first shallow bowl, combine flour, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.Place beaten eggs in the second shallow bowl.Fill the third shallow bowl with breadcrumbs.
  • Dredge each chicken strip in the flour mixture, ensuring it's evenly coated.Dip the floured chicken into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
  • Press the egg-coated chicken into the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs to the surface. Repeat with all chicken strips.
  • In a large skillet, heat about 1 inch of cooking oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C) on a cooking thermometer.
  • Carefully place the coated chicken strips into the hot oil, a few at a time, without overcrowding the skillet. Fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove the cooked chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a wire rack lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.Serve the chicken tenders hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
