Ingredients
  

  • 10 chicken drumsticks
  • Buttermilk
  • Hot sauce
  • Creole seasoning
  • All-purpose flour
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients and in a bowl, combine buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Marinate the chicken drumsticks in the buttermilk mixture by ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours for better marination.
  • Mix together flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create the coating or breading mixture (you can add in some cornstarch to thicken the sauce).
  • When done with that, heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large, deep skillet and take each marinated drumstick, letting excess buttermilk drip off, and coat it thoroughly with the flour mixture.
  • You then carefully place the coated drumsticks into the hot oil, a few at a time, to ensure there's space between the chicken, now fry until the drumsticks are golden brown and cooked through, usually about 10 minutes.
  • Now, remove the fried drumsticks with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  • Your chicken drumsticks is ready to be served.
