Brownies without sugar recipe

Sugar-free brownies is a desert that offers a satisfyingly sweet and chocolaty experience without the use of traditional sugar. This recipe often used almond flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, and a sugar substitute like erythritol or stevia, melted coconut oil or butter and eggs which contribute to the fudgy texture. The addition of vanilla extract enhances the flavor, and the optional sugar-free chocolate chips or nuts can be folded in for added texture. When baked to perfection, these sugar-free brownies offer a delicious treat for those looking to reduce their sugar intake while still engaging in a chocolatey dessert.

Ingredients

  • Almond flour
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Baking powder
  • Salt
  • Melted coconut or olive oil or butter
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla extract
  • Sugar substitute like erythritol or stevia
  • Optional: Sugar-free chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Instructions

  • Make ready all your ingredients and preheat your oven and grease a baking dish.
  • Combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt, ensuring that everything is well combined.
  • The next step is that, in a sizeable bowl, mix the melted coconut oil or butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and sugar substitute until well combined, you then combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring until smooth. At this point, you can fold in the sugar-free chocolate chips or nuts, you can however omit it.
  • Now, pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into squares.
  • Serve and enjoy your sugar-free brownies!

Notes

For a more 'cake-like' brownie, omit the chocolate chips and bake your brownies for a longer time. Then allow them to cool in the pan. You can place the chocolate chips on top of the warm brownies and allow them to melt!
