Instructions
Peel the potato skin off and use a grater to rip the potato into smaller pieces.
Let the potatoes dry and sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt. Mix.
Heat some oil in a deep pan for about 5 minutes.
Put the grated potatoes into the oil and let it fry till it becomes light brown.
When it is ready, turn off the heat and transfer the potatoes from the oil onto a plate lined with a paper towel.

This recipe is similar to potato chips but has other ingredients added to it. Aloo bhaja is easy to make and tasty too. It is eaten often in Bengali and qualifies as a starter or a side dish.
