Equipment

  • Whisk / mixing rod / wooden churner

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups curd cold
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • ¾  tbsp cardamom powder
  • 1 cup cold water or yogurt whey
  • 1 tbsp rosewater

Instructions
 

  • Put two cups of cold curd into a deep bowl. If your curd is sour, you would have to add more milk and sugar.
  • Beat it with a whisk or mixing rod till it becomes smooth.
  • Add four tablespoons of sugar, a pinch of saffron or a teaspoon of rosewater.
  • Add ¾ of a teaspoon of cardamom powder.
  • Whisk all the ingredients together till the sugar dissolves.
  • Add one cup of cold water or yoghurt whey to the mixture.
  • Add more water depending on the consistency you prefer.
