Sift cake flour, baking powder, yeast, sugar and salt into a bowl.
Add the carrot to it and mix together.
Add cooking oil, water and eggs. Use your fingers to mix well.
Add warm water, set aside for about an hour to allow the dough to rise.
Put the dough into your cups and boil them for about an hour in a large sauce pan with water in it.
Remove from the fire when ready, drain away the water and serve your dombolo.

Among the Zulu people who are also South Africans, dombolo is prepared on top of a stew and not alone. They can be made as a whole loaf or in small cups like cup cakes.
