Turkey is a large poultry bird which is usually preparedon special occasions. It is a low fat meat, and a good source of protein,vitamin B6 and B12. Turkey can be boiled, fried or grilled and used for soup oreaten with a number of foods for lunch or dinner.
Let turkey rest for about an hour outside the fridge.
Boil the turkey in water with a little salt for about 45 minutes. Whenit’s ready, drain the water from it and set aside.
Dice carrots, onion and potatoes into a bowl. Boil the potatoes forabout ten minutes and set aside.
Put a small skillet on fire and melt some margarine in it.
Stir fry the vegetables and potatoes in it. Add a little of the chickenseasoning and powdered cayenne pepper and mix well.
After about three minutes, remove the skillet from fire and set aside.
In another bowl, mix salt, powdered cayenne pepper, chicken seasoningand vegetable oil.
Stuff the stir fried vegetables into the turkey through the holeunderneath and tie the legs together with a thread.
Brush the spice mixture all over the turkey and set it aside.
Preheat the oven at 325 degree Fahrenheit and let the oven tray or rackbe at the lowest position in the oven.
Put the turkey into the oven and grill for about 3hours. When it is ready, remove it from the oven and transfer it onto a largetray and garnish with some rosemary leaves.
