CASSAVA FLAKES RECIPE

Equipment

  • Grater
  • Large clay pot
  • Sieve
  • Long wooden spoon (to stir)

Ingredients
  

  • Tubers cassava
  • Water

Instructions
 

  • Peel the cassava tubers and wash them.
  • Using a large grater, grate the cassava into fine pieces into a bowl.
  • Pour the grated cassava into a porous bag and put in a press machine forup to 3 hours. (This is to drain excess water from it).
  • When it dries, sieve it into another bowl.
  • Get a large pot and put on fire.
  • Pour the grated cassava into the pot and stir as you fry for some time.
  • Remove from fire when it is well fried.
  • Let it cool down and store in a container.
